We accept the following for recycling:
- all grades of clean waste paper
- books, catalogues & phone directories
- cardboard & paper feed sacks
- steel food/beverage cans, empty paint cans
- aluminium cans, aerosols & foil
- textiles, clothing & rags
- glass bottles & jars
- plastic bottles, bags, sacks and wraps
- computer scrap & circuit boards, toner & inkjet cartridges
- waste metal, white goods (EXCEPT fridges/freezers) and garage scrap
- tapes, cassettes, CDs & DVDs
PLEASE NOTE WE CANNOT RECYCLE EXPANDED POLYSTYRENE
We can supply shredded paper for animal bedding. Secure bags and seals supplied for our confidential shredding service for secure disposal of confidential home or office waste. Flatpack cardboard boxes for home removals can also be supplied.
WHEN SORTING YOUR RECYCLING PLEASE REMEMBER:
- no plastic other than bottles, bags & wraps
- paper & plastic in separate containers
- milk bottles & food cans must be clean
- no crisp packets, sweet wrappers or food waste
- any glass must be in a separate box (not bag)
- brown envelopes are classed as cardboard
- please remove the caps from drinks bottles, except milk
